Boundary Ambulance is a non-profit ALS 911/transport agency located in Boundary County Idaho. We cover 1,278 square miles and provide ALS, ILS and BLS care to all Boundary County residents and visitors, including 911, facility-to-facility transfers, county-wide extrication services, low-angle rope rescue, standby at special events along with CPR, first aid and EMT classes. Boundary County offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with plenty of space for the adventuresome to enjoy skiing, hunting, hiking, white water rafting and more. EMT/EMT-A JOB OPENINGS

Available Positions

  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

    • Part-time roles

    • Minimum: valid state EMT certification, CPR for healthcare providers

    • Duties: emergency and non-emergency patient care, safe patient transport, documentation, equipment checks

    • Preferred: experience in ambulance transport, BLS instructor, or additional certifications

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license; clean driving record required for operational roles

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

  • Availability for shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Physical ability to perform patient lifting and movement as required

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-service orientation
