“I just want to personally thank Boundary Ambulance for their service.
My family required transport this last Sunday from Bonners Ferry to Kootenai Health for my 5 year old son suffering a asthma attack
We had two EMTS show up for transport, Ben & Angie.
Ben was who my son & myself had the most contact with in the back of the ambulance. He was so kind, letting my son play a movie on his phone, to help distract him from everything going on around him.
Angie and I didn’t really speak, as she was the driver, but when we got to Kootenai, there was a brief exchange outside the ambulance, she reassured me things would get better.
But it was something so small that she did, before they left to head onto their next call. She ever so gently gave my arm a squeeze before they departed. And it was something that I needed. A maternal hug, from one mother to another.
I could not imagine ever being in our situation again, but felt so reassured by the knowledge and comfort of Ben and Angie that day. Thank you so much!”

“This is a brief note to commend a couple of our county's EMS crews who were involved in the care of my father when he had his accident last month. Both of the EMS crews that cared for him could not have been more professional, prompt, kind or considerate. Their competency was very reassuring. Having these people assist us in our time of need was a great blessing and comfort. We are very pleased to have this Emergency Medical Service available in our county. They did a great job.”

“I am a Wilderness EMT who was treating a woman who fell off her horse and was met by two members of Boundary Ambulance at the trailhead to Snow Lake in the Panhandle National Forest area. I wish I remembered the names of the crew members that met us. They took the patient and were calm, professional, and warm providers. After receiving the patient, they kindly shared some of their equipment to replace the items I used from my first aid kit. I was impressed by the clean state of the ambulance and the resources they had at hand. Kudos to Boundary Ambulance for elevating EMS capabilities and supporting their community.”
